Auto Salon Int.
welcomes media personnel from various mediums, including but not
limited to, print media, web-based journalism, magazine and/or newspaper
editorial coverage, photojournalism and televised networks. All
media request(s) must be submitted electronically via email with
all the necessary questions and information completed in the mandatory
format to be considered for accreditation.
Please note only genuine media personnel and/or entities will processed.
Auto Salon Int. will only respond to those submissions that are
satisfactory completed, verified and accepted. All first time applicants
for web-based photojournalism/ reporting must also include samples
of prior event in motor sports coverage. Requests from freelancers
or photo agencies will not be considered at this stage.
All applications must be received no later than seven (7) days prior
to the nominated Auto Salon event. Email applications must adhere
strictly to the submission format; non compliant email applications
will not be processed and/or granted media accreditation, nor be
entered into further correspondence.
Correct Email Media Application Format
Media applications can only be submitted and accepted via email
to: media@autosalon.org
Email application(s)
MUST include ALL the following information:
- In the email
subject line you must indicate which city you are applying media
accreditation for: e.g. “Sydney Media Accreditation”
or “Auckland Media Accreditation.”
- You must
attention the body of the email to: “Auto Salon Media Accreditation
Personnel”
- You must
indicate the type of media you represent, i.e. magazine, newspaper,
television, radio.
You must indicate
the following details:
- Full name
- Company Name
- Company Address,
website and contact number (landline only)
- Position/
Occupation in the nominated company (e.g. journalist/ photographer/
cameraman)
- Name of Editor,
Director or Chief of Staff
You must outline
the intended use of the Auto Salon content to be acquired.
You must include
full details and role(s) of all attending staff (e.g. interviewer,
cameraman, etc)
You must include
at the end of the email application the following text in verbatim:
“I ... (applicant’s name)…, as representative
of … (company name)…, formally request media access
to the Auto Salon event. I understand and adhere in full to the
terms and conditions as outlined by the Auto Salon Media Terms and

Auto Salon Media Terms and Conditions
General
Terms
Applying
for media accreditation to any Auto Salon event in Australia and/
or New Zealand strictly implies the applicant has read, understood
and adheres to, in full, to the media terms and conditions as outlined
herewith.
Granted
media accreditation to any Auto Salon event in Australia and/ or
New Zealand legally binds the applicant and their representing organisation/
company in full to media terms and conditions.
Media
representative agrees to conduct themselves accordingly and within
expectation/s of Auto Salon organisers.
Media
representative will adhere to all venue and management safety regulations
and protocols.
Media
representative will refer to and represent all acquired information/
correspondence on behalf of Auto Salon in an accurate and correct
manner befitting the event show, including naming rights, sponsors,
publication rules and associated licensees and/or assignees.
Media
representative must liaise with nominated Auto Salon media officer
for all coverage, content and end-result representation.
Media
representative will forward final sample of video/ magazine/ article/
website coverage prior to publication for authentication and final
media release.
Media
representative will deny access to any content obtained at the Auto
Salon show without the prior written consent from Auto Salon organisers.
Auto Salon
organisers retain right of refusal/ entry to any media individual/
representative/ or entity regardless of media accreditation status.
Media
representative agrees to fair and unbiased reporting and will not
partake in any form of promotional activity on behalf of or in association
with traders/ businesses/ car clubs/ individuals and/or organizations
unless authorised by Auto Salon.
Auto Salon
International its licensees and/or assignees will not be held liable
for any loss, theft and/or damage to property resulting from attendance
to the Auto Salon event show(s).
All rights
are reserved by Auto Salon International; a breach in terms and
conditions can result in legal action.
Magazine,
Website and Video Footage Terms
Any
magazine, website or video production company that wishes to cover
the Auto Salon Event for use in a commercial venture must first
seek prior approval from Auto Salon International. The intentions
must be submitted in writing and must outline/ adhere in the following
manner:
You must
submit full disclosure and intention of content usage.
Nominate
the companies involved/ associated in the pre/ post production of
content.
Mediums
intended for usage of content (i.e. DVD, TV, Magazine, Website,
etc).
Accurate
representation of Auto Salon Show must be strictly adhering to,
including naming rights, sponsors, licensees and image portrayal.
At no
stage does Auto Salon International agree or allow for a production
company/ individual to enter into exclusivity deals, contracts or
preferred supplier agreements with external production parties.
Auto Salon
reserves the right for request of all images, text, and footage
taken in part or whole at any of its show events for purposes of
banning, internal productions and/or reference.
Auto Salon
does not permit any duplication or forwarding of obtained content
to outside parties without written consent from Auto Salon International.
All acquired
content remains property of Auto Salon International.
Championship
Results
A list of trophy
winners will be announced online on our website www.autosalon.co.nz
within five (5) working days after the Event. Should you wish to
